In July of 1947, Superlative Publications, based in Streator, Illinois, released a new pulp magazine by the name of Superlative Tales. THE TEDDY BEAR CONSPIRACIES
BY MYKE FEINMAN, PHOTOGRAPHER BY ANTHONY FEINMAN
This whimsical sci-fi epic, described as "Winnie the Pooh meets the X-Files," spoofs almost every known alien conspiracy theory. War has been raging for more than 50 years on Earth between two groups of aliens, the grays known as the Arjogun, and Orishans, aliens that look like teddy bears. The Orishans find journalist Samuel Arctophile who has to maintain his career while carrying around "teddy bears" in an attempt to solve the mystery of a missing FBI agent, stop the Arjogun from destroying the world, and uncover his soul mate in the process.
