Art done in Bigfoot Popeye style based off of E.C. Segar and Bud Sagendorf .

The continuation of the Freedom Mystique, The Crystal Skull Files takes place eleven days after The Mask Conspiracy. Terry Freedom, a Doc Savage-like character, and his NewsHunt crew are thrust right smack in the middle of a power play to possess a Crystal Skull. What are the Skull's mysterious powers? What does B.U.C.K.S. stand for and why does this group desire the Skull? Who is the ruler of Lotfalaya and why does he advocate censorship? What secret has Terry's mother been hiding from him for thirty years? This story is littered with comedy, suspense and thrills that many have become accustomed to when enjoying Terry Freedom's adventures. The story is suitable for all ages.

In the tradition of the first Terry Freedom graphic novel, $2 dollars out of every book sold goes to help fund the Art Scholarship at Herscher High located in Herscher, IL as well as The Freedom Journalism Scholarship at Streator/Woodland High located in Streator ,IL. Since the scholarship was established in 1991, Ink and Feathers Comics has given out $5,000 in donations (as of 2006).

Items of note: 1) One scholarship winner (Jim Lowe) and one scholarship contestant (Eric T. Gradberg) have artwork included in this volume. 2) A eighth grade teacher in Streator uses this book in her constitution class.
